As I strolled along Cobh's picturesque promenade, I was captivated by the stillness that enveloped the enclosed harbour, where four small boats sought refuge. The water lay undisturbed, its surface reflecting the foreboding sky, hinting at the approaching inclement weather. Cobh has a compelling history, deeply entwined with maritime significance. Cobh was once the poignant departure point for countless Irish emigrants embarking on journeys to distant lands. The harbour also held the haunting memory of the Titanic's final port of call before its tragic voyage across the Atlantic in 1912, leaving an enduring mark on Cobh's maritime heritage. While I gazed upon the serene harbour, I contemplated the stories and voyages traversing these waters.
