White Star Line Pier (Heartbreak Pier), Cobh, Co. Cork

This historic pier at which an estimated 1 million Irish emigrants bade farewell to loved ones as they left for America and Canada. The pier was point where the last Titanic passengers boarded the tender ships which took the passengers to the moored Titanic at the mouth of Cork Harbour.
